
New employee in ZEG Power AS
Arnstein Norheim is from February 20. employed as Senior Engineer at ZEG Power AS. He is educated siv.ing (MTech) in Environmental Physics at The Norwegian University of Life Science and dr.ing (PhD) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The PhD work and the subsequent Post.Doc-position were focused on high temperature SOFC in a CHP context. Norheim has additionally been working on several other topics within energy research at Institute for Energy Technology and The Norwegian Institute for Wood Technology. He has also background as project manager in energy plant projects in the district heating sector via Norsk Energi.

The BioZEG-project
ZEG Power is at present working with the realization of a 50kW ZEG - demonstration plant in connection to the Hynor Lillestrøms hydrogen refuelling station in Akershus EnergiPark. The basic idea is to demonstrate cost-effective stand-alone green production of hydrogen and electricity from upgraded landfill gas.
In the project a 20kW SOFC will be thermally integrated with the regenerator of a 30kW sorption – enhanced steam methane reforming (SESMR) system. Read more….
