The BioZEG plant was officially opened March 6th, 2014. In the plant a 20kW SOFC is thermally integrated with the regenerator of a 30kW sorption – enhanced steam methane reforming (SESMR) system. Jon Strand is from January 8. employed as Process Engineer at ZEG Power AS. He holds a M.Sc. in Nanotechnology from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and has background from the gas reforming industry. He has previously also worked with production and operation of fuel cells for auxiliary power units (APUs).
ZEG Power attended the Nordic hydrogen conference in Oslo 31 October – 1 November with the presentation ”BioZEG – highly efficient standalone greenproduction of electricity and hydrogen”.
