The BioZEG concept

In addition to natural gas and other carbon based gases, ZEG plants can be based on locally available, biomass resources (gasified biomass) where the ZEG-technology enables cost-effective distributed or stand-alone production of clean, renewable hydrogen and/or electric power.

CO2 capture is an integrated part of the ZEG-technology, and it is advantageous for the total energy yield that the CO2 is captured. If bio-CO2 is emitted this is seen as climate-neutral, and if bio-CO2 is used or sequestered (bio-CCUS) this will represent a positive climate contribution (negative CO2 footprint).
